Purpose of the job

To contribute to the development and execution of a HR Operations Plan to help the Philips to realize its strategic commercial ambitions

Advise and support the managers and staff w.r.t. Human Resources programs, policies and processes.

Position of the job within the organisation

Jobholder directly reports to the HR Market Leader

Key Areas of Responsibility

    Create and Ensure HR operations agenda through the alignment of HR strategy with the business strategy / requirements in order to add value to the business.
    Contribute to the development and execution of the business strategy and change agenda over a 2 – 3 year window, driving organizational capability development
    Manage the key elements of Payroll Management and Outsourcing
    Organization reporting/ Performance Management
    Help in Driving the key HR processes in the business : strategic planning, employee engagement and performance management
    Ensures that all HR services provided to the business meet the required customer demands.
    Manages the data required in the various systems and tools.
    Manages the cost of all HR services provided to the business within the set and agreed cost budgets.
    Supports the implementation of change management processes in the business as well as leading major HR change initiatives.
    Develop, coordinate and implement aligned HR policies for Africa.
    Facilitates effective local employee/labor relations and manages local society impact.
