Company pivotal role to coordinate and conduct site training for all aspects of UG mining activities.

Hit the ground running to replace the previous incumbent who has moved on (due to promotion). Pace of the operation is FAST. You will not be micro managed, this is an autonomous role, an opportunity to prove your skill in developing workers young workers.

Responsible for training/assessing all employees & subcontractors including developing & delivering training programs, maintaining employees files and updating skills matrix.

Training includes all aspects of UG machinery - integrated tool carriers (Caterpillar, Komatsu etc), forklifts, front end loaders, haul trucks, drill rigs including long hole and aspects of mining processes such as drill and blast and shotcreting processes etc.

You will report to the training superintendent who is building the team in line with recent expansion. As the team grows to 6 you will be encouraged to put your hat in the ring for a coordinator position.

A top tier mining company where internal development is encouraged.With a number of sites across Australia, solidify your experience here and transfer to other sites in the future – Open Cut or Underground, Coal or Metals.

Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years experience in training & assessing. Mining experience essential (UG preferred). Minimum qualification is a certificate 4 in training and Assessing. Cert 4 in OHS and S1, S2, S3 are highly desirable.
