Short description:    Americold, the largest provider of temperature controlled warehousing and distribution services in the U.S., is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. There are no relocation or sponsorship benefits available for this position.
Long description:    Essential Functions:



1. Perform activities related to the effective management of cash including daily receipts, disbursements, transfers of funds, and information reporting.

2. Perform activities related to the opening, closing and maintaining of all bank accounts.

3. Prepare and execute daily loan pool funding.

4. Primary contact for inspection and insurance requests from lenders.

5. Prepare information used in monthly covenant reporting.

6. Manage utility payment process.

7. Accumulation, analysis and reporting of previous day cash activity related to multiple accounts at several financial institutions on a timely basis with special attention to accuracy.

8. Coordinate automated systems activity for reporting and record keeping. Analyze procedures employed to develop efficient, accurate reporting of cash activity.

9. Analyze systems employed to develop and administer cash activities (ACH transactions, wire transfers, stop payments, balance reporting).

10. Prepare weekly cash transaction journal entries.

11. Prepare monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts related to Treasury.

12. Prepare monthly interest expense analysis.

13. Setup new vendors and general ledger accounts as needed.

14. Prepare and make weekly cash deposits.

15. Manage treasury record retention policy.

16. Maintain SOX policy and procedures documentation.

17. Maintain supporting documentation related to cash activity.

18. Prepare and maintain a comprehensive cash procedure and cash flowchart manual.

19. Recommend changes in policies or operational processes and assist in developing these policies and procedures.

20. Primary contact for Accounting, A/R, A/P, HR, Payroll, Legal departments, facilities and auditors on Treasury-related issues.

21. Other duties and projects as requested.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:



Education, Training & Professional Experience:


College degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.


3-5 years accounting related work experience required; treasury experience preferred.


Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications to include Excel and Word. Experience with accounting software systems (i.e. SAP) and bank portals preferred.


Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. This includes the collection, compilation and interpretation of data.


Demonstrates consistency, flexibility and commitment to meet deadlines.
