As a Data Conversion Consultant for Ultimate Software, you will be responsible for delivering high quality SQL Development and Data Consulting Services to our customers. Projects require you to utilize SQL development, data mapping, testing, analytical, project management and design skills. In addition, striving to identify new business opportunities and to enrich the service experience for all customers.

This is a very hands-on role, which will require the candidate to diagnose the business request or technical issue quickly, identify creative solutions and in most cases, code, implement functionality and fixes in real-time for immediate use. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills as well as be able to deliver under intense pressure. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be able to build immediate rapport with demanding users.

Primary Responsibilities

* Utilize consulting experience and skills to guide internal and external customers to the best possible end solution
* Utilize internal tools and documentation to promote efficiency and standardization
* Provide input on methodology and process improvements
* Provide internal training sessions to the team on new product related issues and ever-changing industry standards and practices
* Manage multiple concurrent projects

Requirements

* 3-5 years prior experience in SQL Database Programming (MS Transact SQL, SSIS, Relational Databases, ETL)
* Prior consulting experience
* Prior Project Management experience
* UltiPro HRMS/Payroll Product Knowledge or other Payroll/HR Systems
* Project Estimation 1-3 years prior experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll industry
* Customer-focused, positive and professional attitude
* Organized, detail oriented, accurate and responsive
* Self-motivated, quick learner
* Team player: collaborative, seeks input, accepts and incorporates feedback from others, and freely offers assistance
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong decision making and problem solving skills
* Desire to learn and develop new skills.
* Strong analysis, change control, task management and time management skills
* Able to set and manage expectations

Education/Certification/License:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Travel Requirement:
Initial travel during training phase; thereafter, limited travel upon request
