Position Description

The Office Administrator manages and implements the administrative tasks that help CFLeads fulfill its mission and realize its vision. The Office Administrator will support the organization to advance its strategic objectives to: 1) strengthen individual community foundation leaders, 2) build the organizational community leadership capacity of community foundations, 3) position community foundations to address critical issues 4) promote community leadership and 5) build the learning cooperative to advance the mission.

Office Administrator Responsibilities

Executive Administration - Manages the efficient execution of day-to-day operations of CFLeads. Supports Executive Director in board relations, field communications, scheduling and other administrative tasks.

Program Administration and Meeting Planning - Works with Executive Director and Program Director to support the implementation of high-quality learning opportunities for community foundations. Tasks include coordination of communications and scheduling with program participants and consultants, management and execution of meeting and event logistics, oversight of production and dissemination of publications and reports, coordination of vendor contracts, and the collection of program fees. Also supports the Program Director and consultant(s) in the promotion of all CFLeads learning opportunities, tools, resources and services.

Development Support - Supports the Executive Director and Program Director in the development of proposals to and the compliance of grants from both private and community foundations. Coordinates the annual solicitation of community foundations.

Bookkeeping - Performs basic accounting tasks, oversees budget for general operations and assists in monitoring program budgets.

Information and Technology Management - Maintains organization database with information on 700+ community foundations across the country.
