Review and redesign of the Disaster Management Information System (DMIS)

The purpose of the review is to evaluate the DMIS tool against the current and future disaster management information needs of end users and to subsequently suggest the redesign parameters necessary for DMIS to be repositioned as the accepted global tool for sharing IFRC disaster management related information.

The review and redesign study will commence in December 2012/January 2013 for a period of 30 working days for an individual consultant or team of consultants. This consultancy must be completed by no later than 31st April 2013. The consultant may be home based, but must be available to travel for up to 15 days.
