VP of Marketing and Communications


Description:
Our client is seeking a VP of Marketing and Communications for their Medical Software Company. The ideal candidate will have experience in a lead marketing role in the healthcare, medical, EMR/EHR or Practice Management field. Specifically, experience marketing to physician and/or physician practices.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluates market trends and identifies meaningful growth opportunities in line with corporate strategy
- Participates in product planning to ensure development is aligned with market strategy
- Creates and implements annual marketing plan
- Manages media (print, web, social media, E-mail and audio-visual), pricing and promotions to grow sales pipeline at optimal cost
- Monitors competitor's strategy, product, sales and pricing to drive competitive advantage
- Identifies and works with sales to secure and grow meaningful strategic alliances
- Designs and executes effective employee, customer, prospect and industry communication strategies to drive sales and loyalty
- Designs industry and high-level product training programs for employees and strategic alliances
- Participates in senior management
- Manages department staff and budget
- Travel: 30% or less

Requirements:

- 8 " 10+ years of current experience leading company marketing efforts and staff
- MUST have experience in a lead marketing role in the healthcare, medical, EMR/EHR or Practice Management field (Experience marketing to physician and/or physician practices REQUIRED)
- Experience with both traditional marketing and online marketing (email, SEO, social medial, etc)
- Experience managing a small marketing staff and managing a department budget
- Assertive, organized, high energy and creative with a stable work history
- Degree in Marketing or Communications highly preferred
