Airway Transportation Systems Specialists (ATSS) install and maintain electronic equipment and lighting aids associated with facilities and services required for aviation navigation to ensure a reliable, safe, and smooth flow of air traffic. This involves work with radar, communications, computers, navigational aids, airport lighting aids, and electrical/mechanical support for facilities on and off airports within the network of the National Airspace System. It includes periodic maintenance (inspection and analysis of equipment with associated adjustments), corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and replacement of malfunctioning equipment, and certification. ATSSs may be required to maintain entire facilities, including electronic equipment, electrical power distribution, emergency backup power, power conditioning systems, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Many ATSSs work out of offices located at or near airports and on service equipment located on airports, in air traffic control towers, automated flight service stations, air route traffic control centers, in open fields, or even on remote mountain tops. It is often necessary to drive significant distances (100-200 miles) to reach facilities.

To qualify at the FV-F level: Applicants must have successfully completed all program requirements and be in receipt of a four-year degree* from an FAA-approved TO-CTI academic institution AND been recommended for employment by an authorized TO-CTI school official.

If you are a candidate that graduated from an FAA-approved TO-CTI academic institution, and did not originally establish eligibility for employment consideration under the TO-CTI program, you may elect to do so by contacting your TO-CTI academic institution.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Officer

Job Purpose

Based in the Head Office in Nairobi, the successful candidate will actively, effectively and efficiently contribute to the HR function in the organization, through the maintenance of sound HR policies, procedures and training programs, so as to best utilize, develop and maintain a productive and engaged human resource in the Company.

Key Responsibilities

    Be an active player in the articulation of the Human Resources Policy in the company.

Job Purpose

Qualifications

    Kenya Registered Nurse (KRN) Diploma from a recognized institution.
    Must be licensed by a relevant organization to operate as a KRN.
    Exposure in the following areas will be an added advantage.
    Computer literate.
    Counseling skills.

Experience

    A minimum of 5 years experience in a busy medical facility, 3 of which must be in the Out Patient department.
