Overview:

TimeGrab (www.timegrabapp.com) is the Nike+ for productivity. We are a 7 month old startup with strong and experienced team, a beta product, excited users and a user base that is growing, strong advisors. We are going after a 25+ billion dollar market with a differentiated product and are looking for a coder with CTO potential to join our team.
We are currently part of the GroundWork Labs Accelerator program in Durham and are graduates of the TieX Accelerator in Atlanta. The official HQ is in San Francisco due to funding reasons, however we have strong interest from a number of East Coast investor groups and may move our HQ to the East Coast by Q2.

The current stack is LAMP, the entire backend is built in PHP with mySql database. Our front end is twitter bootstrap.
Our mobile product is built in native IOS.
We are in the process of building a very important additional product, a Java desktop application that ties in perfectly with the rest of our platform.

We work using the agile method, using Trello as the roadmap tool and github as our repository.

We are looking to offer the right candidate the opportunity to work with us on a 3 month trial basis whereafter we hope that an opportunity for long term employment and a discussion about a CTO role may be viable.

Responsibilities:

Immediate responsibilities:
You will be responsible for implementing the front-end and tying it to our php backend, enabling full functionality across the board.
Longer term:
You will be expected to take the lead on all technical aspects: web front and back end, mobile and our java product, and provide direction and hands on implementation and leadership on any additional products to be developed and launched
lead the construct of our platform and all products for maximum speed and scale (10+ million users)
technical lead throughout entire lifecycle of product and features, from ideation, evaluation, estimating to build, test, launch and iterate
work with customers on integration
partner integration and platform extension strategy
identify, hire and motivate jr. developers
reporting to CEO and Board of Directors
General CTO responsibility

Experience:

Immediate need:
Strong front end skills, specifically javascript/css/html5
Responsive design experience
2 years minimum of Java experience
API and oAuth experience
Knowledge of php
Strong expertise with mySql
Mobile development experience in some capacity
UX expertise will be considered an asset. We currently have a designer on staff but you may provide additional support.

denofgeek.us is looking for one or two people to play through PC games, primarily new/upcoming games, participate in beta testing and write detailed, knowledgeable, in depth reviews for our website.
We need gamers who meet the following criteria:
-Must have a dedicated gaming pc that can run the highest quality games on maximum settings;
-Must be able to record your gaming via FRAPS or other software and upload/email videos;
-Must be able to concisely express their opinions about the game using certain criteria;
-Must LOVE gaming;
-Must be fairly reachable and flexible, we are a website and so never, really "close" - late night gaming and communication is a big plus.

We are looking for players HEAVY into gaming and very knowledgeable about what makes a great game and what doesn't.

We pay $35 per game review to be 1,000-1,200 words in length.
