PROJECT MANAGER – PRESTIGE AUDIO PRODUCTS

A central task in delivering sustained product innovation

in a particularly sophisticated consumer market

With a long record of sector-leading technology and design developments this company has responded to the market opportunities of the last decade with a very diverse range of product offerings.

Its products embody  the brand’s integrity, and they win the praise of critics and the loyalty of discerning customers  around the world. Sustaining the pace of product innovation demands innovative research, the capabilities to deliver new devices, and, crucially, a firm adherence to specifications and timelines  which is where this job comes in.

The task will impact on every stage of the product development and introduction cycle. It will involve enhancing the company’s planning processes and ensuring that every aspect of the development and supply of new products operates effectively. The work will impact on R&D and manufacturing, which will be both in-house and external, and in the UK and China.

Ideal candidates will be graduate engineers with both experience and qualifications in project management. Skills gained in working with technically advanced consumer-oriented products will be particularly valuable, and a passion for quality audio will be useful.

However, we will be looking most of all for the communication, influencing and organisational abilities needed to make complex projects come together  and for the energy and rigour to ensure timescales and standards are met.
