USAID JOB

We are looking for people to fill a variety of Foreign Service positions overseas (for both career and limited term appointments), Civil Service positions in Washington DC, and interns. A background in development is not required for all positions; we are building a workforce rich in diversity and technical fields, with strong analytical capabilities. We invite you to review our career pages fully to see what opportunities we currently have available that match your skills and experience.
“Whatever it is we’re trying to do in the world – whether it’s lowering the number of women who die in childbirth, or eradicating a disease, or trying to bring democratic governance to parts of the world that are in transition – it takes staff who are smart and optimistic, and who understand how to invest in people. USAID should be a ’mixing pot’ of people with backgrounds in banking, health, education, engineering, energy, and consulting, so the agency can incorporate best practices from industry into its operations. We’re looking for people who are fundamentally entrepreneurial, and who can bring a ‘Yes we can approach’ to USAID.”
— Dr Shah, USAID Administrator
