Introduction
The applicant will assist Finance Director in formulating financial planning/ policies and take responsibility
for successful implementation of such plans, policies and processes.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience

• Must have an undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting with CPA(K)/ CA. An MBA will be an added
advantage
• Minimum of 20 years experience in Finance, Accounts, Treasury, Taxation and Project Management
in manufacturing industry out of which at least 2 years of independently handling finance and accounts
functions.
• Having a deep understanding of audit or worked in a leading audit firms,
• Strong leadership skills and ability to build and motivate finance team
• Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• A sound working knowledge in ERP

Age:

• Between 35 to 45 years old. Can be relaxed for exceptional candidate


Job Specification
Job Profile:

• Development Financial Model and Strategic Planning;
• Finalization of Annual Budget and review Cash Flow, Liaison with banks, Raising Fund and managing
investors relationship;
• Responsible for overall accounts, Taxation, Audit, Receivable and Payable management;
• Compliance of Kenyan GAAP, US GAAP/ IFRS, Income Tax, VAT, and other Statutory regulations
• Review and evaluate new business initiatives/ projects, M&A and assist in the execution thereof;
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to Finance Director/ Dy.MD and MD
• Drive consistent improvements in financial processes and ensure effective control/ management of costs;
• Develop and build up a strong finance team and act as a mentor/ changing agent in the finance function
• Preparation and presentation of financial reports to the Board of Directors, CMA, NSE and Banks as
applicable
