Introduction
The position shall report to the Deputy General Manager, Marketing. The PR Officer will be responsible for
communications activities at grass root level and play an important role in carrying message of the company
and its products to the communities and stakeholders. The PR Officer will be responsible for promotion of
brand image from the grass root to the corporate level.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:

Graduate in any discipline with a post graduate diploma in Journalism/ Mass Communication/ Public
Relations,
Minimum 5 years experience in corporate communications.
Demonstrated capability and experience in community liaison and capacity building.
Strong liaison and networking skills
Excellent communication skills both in English and Kiswahili

Job Profile


Conceptualize and develop PR programmes for implementation and enhance corporate brand image and
increase sales revenue

Create new ideas for all corporate publications about the company and its products in the mass media
and in-house magazine including editing and publishing.

Prepare all communications materials such as fact sheets, maps, reports, FAQs, visual aids and update
the same from time to time.

Enhance the Company’s image in a systematic manner to facilitate achievement of company’s
objectives and goals

Address the enquiries and grievances of the community/ stakeholders in accordance with Company
policies and guidelines

Manage on-the-ground issues and safeguarding ARM’s reputation

Liaise and monitor local media in regards to ARM’s operations and providing feedback to
Management.
