Our Global Virtual Sales organization, which leverages virtual technology to grow revenue and build relationships with customers and partners, is expanding our sales coverage globally to help accelerate these areas of the business, as well as other market segments, like Public Sector and Service Provider. These virtual sales roles are core to Cisco’s Partner-led strategy and carry a legal bookings sales goal with a defined list of customers or partners.

We are seeking a Virtual Sales Account Manager (VSAM) who will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual goals by managing a set of end customers virtually, using the telephone and Web 2.0 technologies. The VSAM will build direct relationships with end user organizations and will work closely with and leverage the channel partners to maximize the revenue opportunities within the fixed set of named accounts.

In this role, you will:

• Own end-customer relationships, carry legal quota and have responsibility for the growth of a fixed set of named/FDEV Accounts.
• Develop/Hunt for opportunities through sales & marketing activities to end customers and with partners to drive technology penetration in their account list.
• Collaborate with aligned sales roles to close the deals once an opportunity is identified.
• Responsible for forecasting accuracy and updating salesforce.com
• Develop and manage the relationship with a dedicated group of accounts in terms of goal attainment (quota), customer satisfaction & market coverage. Account size generally defined by 100-1000 employees.
• Develop a territory & account plan, prioritize internal and external (virtual) resources & execute to meet or exceed sales quota.
• Position "end to end" solutions to the end customer and via Channel Partners so they can articulate Cisco’s value to the customer.
Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent
• 3-5 years of related technical sales experience, preferably in a contact center or fast moving sales environment. IT experience a plus.
• Cisco sales, product & technical certifications preferred.
• Consistently achieved or exceeded Monthly/Quarterly Goals.
• Consistently achieved forecasted revenue Monthly/Quarterly. 95-110% Forecast accuracy.
