Description

Arizona Housing Alliance is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and advocate for quality housing that Arizonans can afford. Our 150 members include developers, lenders, investors, non-profit agencies, government entities, housing authorities, academia and individuals from across the state. The Alliance supports it members by providing education programs, pursuing additional resources and improved public policies, and sharing research and information to enhance the impact and effectiveness of the affordable housing sector. Arizona Housing Alliance believes that every Arizonan should have a quality home that they can afford.

Arizona Housing Alliance seeks qualifications from consultants to support membership, fundraising, and development efforts. The Membership and Development Director will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure that the Alliance supports its members and secures sufficient resources to support current and planned programs and operations. A new activity in the organization, the Membership and Development Director will have the opportunity to build the membership and development function.

Scope of Work

Membership

* Work with Executive Director and Membership Services Committee to develop and implement an annual membership campaign.
* Evaluate, design, and implement appropriate member services.
* Coordinate member meetings.
* Coordinate Academy seminars.
* Manage membership renewals.
* Develop and oversee members only section of website.
* Manage contact management database.
* Create membership reports and analyze membership trends.

Development

* Work with the Executive Director and Executive Committee to develop strategies to initiate and meet fundraising goals.
* Design, implement and manage fundraising activities including membership campaign, annual golf outing, and sponsorship opportunities.
* Identify, research, and solicit potential sources of support to ensure fundraising goals are met.
* Develop and track proposals for fundraising and membership support.
* Manage development database.
* Create development reports and analyze fundraising trends.

Preferred Experience

* Bachelor's degree in a related field.
* 3 years of successful experience in membership, development, event planning, program planning or project planning.
* Experience with contact management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Nonprofit experience a plus.
* Website management a plus.
* Social media experience a plus.

Arizona Housing Alliance operates in a virtual office environment. Scope of work anticipates approximately 20 hour per week. Some statewide travel may be required.
